You didnt like "Ring" that much? Oh well, to each his own. It was obviously made on not much money, but it didnt need to be, since its not much of an fx movie. When you say the video could have been cooler, you mean the "cursed" video within the movie? I thought it worked well, just being obscure, and the sounds with it were very unsettling. I just found had such a different feel to most horror movies, and built up the atmosphere extremely well.

It's certainly a very impressive movie for $1.5 million.
I agree that the atmosphere was very cool. It did build it up well, but ultimately I felt let down when all was revealed.
The video while freaky, could have contained a couple more vivid freaky images in my opinion, but overall it was done pretty well.
I'll be interested to see how the sequel compares.

So you're going to check out the sequel as well? I liked it alot, it follows very closely on the first movie. Some very cool stuff in it (I thought).

You can put me in the category of HATING the Blair witch project! I cant stand it >:( Having said that, the whole premise of it being true before the movie was released was very original.

Depends if I can get my hands on it without paying for it. Its definetly not something I'd buy, so I'll have to wait till someone I else I know gets it, or its ever released in region 4.

Well, if you makes you feel any better about 2nd hand crt projectors, I think they are pretty hard to find all over Australia. I was pretty lucky with mine (thanks to Cobra).
